our Goal
STF Inc.’s mission is to exude altruism, transparency, equality, equity, efficiency and justice. We intend to close the socio-economic gap for under-served Canadian artists living in or coming from NIA’s (Neighbourhood Improvement Areas) across the GTA. Our goal is to innovate media arts projects that connect artists and creatives to opportunities that help to foster professional development. By providing grant writing services at a rate geared to income we are able to open a world of opportunity to those in the arts. Our mission is to support individuals, families and youth through arts related workshops, awareness initiatives and social benefits.

STF Inc. was founded in 2014 and incorporated in December 2019 with the objective of receiving and maintaining a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to charitable organizations that are also registered charities under the income Tax Act (Canada).
To educate and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places, senior citizen homes, community centres and educational institutions and by providing seminars on topics related to such performances.
To provide instructional seminars on topics related to the performing and visual arts.
To produce performing arts festivals for the purposes of educating and advancing the public’s understanding and appreciation of performing arts and to educate artists through participation in such festivals and related workshops.

STF Inc.’s vision is to enact social change in vulnerable communities by reflecting on life skills, education and citizen engagement. We see a society that values altruism, truth, and transparency. This vision allows us to cultivate a platform where the lived experience qualifies as a meaningful degree to understanding human existence through art, creativity, and culture. Meaningful and impactful change can be practiced as we aim to create innovative methods to break down barriers of access for those living in NIAs. STF Inc.’s vision is to provide NIA’s with access to funding opportunities giving them the ability to succeed in the arts. Through research based data analysis and our 3 pillars: leadership, scholarship, and entrepreneurship we will enact systematic change by encouraging a proactive approach to fundamental tansformation.

The Approach
Co-operativism
Finally after in depth research regarding the homeless sector for over two years, encompassing over 15 years of lived experience overcoming homelessness and considering the shifts in a new disruptive social economy we are taking a co-operative market approach. Our organization specializes in empowering individuals with lived experience to strengthen their communities through social enterprise. The social enterprise component will help to support sustainability for the communities primary homelessness prevention systems.
